There are a few Perks in particular that can help up the rate at which you accumulate money, if you want to take that route:īy increasing your Luck Stat, you'll not only find better loot, but you can invest in two Perks in particular. If you do find yourself in this predicament, make a loop from the Responder Bots of The Forest to the Whitespring Resort and then the Raider Bots of the central Savage Divide. You should also try and sell in greater frequencies to offset the low caps threshold Vendors have, instead of waiting until you are constantly burdened by junk and have to sell a lot over a short period. If you have more perks that favor fighting in light armor vs power armor, sell the extra power armor parts you find. For example: If you've invested in perks to let your thirst meter drain slower, sell off your alcohol. You can do the same for aid items as well: If you find that you're not using chems all that much, or have perks that compliment other resources - sell your aid items instead of letting them go to waste. Excess weapons and armor can be scrapped for resources and mod plans - but if you don't do much crafting and modding - repair them to increase their value and sell them instead! Often times, the best ways to make money is by selling what you need the least - which should be based on your playstyle. Certain high quality Crafting Components like Silver Scrap, Raw Asbestos, Ballistic Fiber Scrap, Black Titanium Scrap, Circuits, Fiberglass, Loose Screws, Nuclear Waste, and Waste Antiseptic.However, items that Vendors will take can include: Many Crafting Components scrapped from Junk, like Adhesive, Aluminum, Cloth, Gears, Leather, Rubber, Springs, Wood, Steel, Bone Shards, Ceramic, Concrete, Fertilizer, Cork, Glass, Lead, Acid, Oil, and Plastic.You can also quickly craft food, chems, armor, and weapons to sell instead - as higher quality weapons and armor tend to sell better, and chems sell better than most junk (though not always by too much). To counter this, its recommended that if you wish to offload excess crafting components, you should visit a Tinker's Station and use plastic to create Bulk Components the bundle junk into bigger trading items that vendors will more readily accept. Note that it also appears that Vendor Bots can share their maximum caps allowance between others of their faction - so after emptying the Vendor's coffers at Flatwoods, you may not be able to sell more to the Vendor at Morgantown Station until their coffers replenish. Many of these robots are found at various Train Stations, or abandoned faction bases. Trading Vendors are in short supply in Appalachia, but they do exist.
